HEART POSTURE

Luke 6:45 (NLT)

“A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart… What you say flows from what is in your heart.”

God spoke to me and said,

“The posture of your heart will determine the position of your hands.”

Many people focus on actions while ignoring alignment. They try to give more, do more, or appear surrendered outwardly—but inwardly, they are still holding control. The struggle isn’t in the hands. It’s in the heart.

Jesus makes it clear that what flows out of you is rooted in what’s within you. Your responses, your decisions, and even what you hold onto are all shaped by the condition of your heart. You don’t produce something different from what you carry—you reveal it.

God is not asking you to fix your behavior first. He’s calling you into alignment. A surrendered heart produces open hands—ready to release, obey, and trust. But a guarded heart will always lead to striving, withholding, and control.

If your hands are tight, check your heart. God is not after performance. He’s after posture.

Consider

Where in my life am I trying to adjust my actions without addressing my heart?

What am I holding onto that God is asking me to release?

Is my posture rooted in trust, or am I still trying to maintain control?

Prayer

Lord, search my heart and reveal what is not aligned with You.

Teach me to surrender fully, not just outwardly but inwardly.

Help me release control and trust You completely.

Let my life reflect a heart that is truly yielded to You.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Stay rooted. Stay aligned.
