Kenneth Bonner Sr. is an author, ordained elder, teacher, and inspirational speaker with a heart for helping people grow deeper in their relationship with God. Through Arise & Shine, he encourages others to discover their identity, find healing, and walk in the purpose God has called them to.
The Call to Arise
Arise & Shine was born from a simple but urgent conviction: people were never meant to remain bound, disconnected from God, or unaware of who they are in Him. Inspired by Isaiah 60:1, Kenneth began shaping a message centered on awakening, restoration, and purpose—a call to arise from the places that have kept us bound, return to God, and walk in the light of His truth and the purpose He has given us.
Faith, Prayer & Wholeness
Kenneth’s faith is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and a deep belief in the power of prayer. His heart is to see people healed, made whole, and delivered from false ideologies and beliefs that have kept them bound. Through teaching, writing, prayer, and spiritual leadership, he encourages people to return to God, grow secure in their identity in Christ, pursue healing and restoration, and deepen their lives in prayer and the Word so they can walk boldly in the purpose God has given them.
