Psalm 23:5 (NKJV)

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.”

Sometimes, we become overwhelmed when we don't receive the answers we hoped for or find relief from the constant attacks. We grow exhausted from asking God for help because we don't see the victory. All we see are the battles, the circumstances, and sometimes the people who seem to stand against us.

But this is not a place where we should dwell.

Our walk with Christ is a walk of faith. It requires us to believe in the One who saved us, redeemed us from sin, and promised never to leave or forsake us.

Wherever you are today, whatever battle you are facing, remember that God is still with you. Your circumstances do not determine His faithfulness, and the presence of opposition does not mean the absence of His power.

David reminds us that God prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Notice that the enemies are still present, yet God is providing, anointing, and causing his cup to overflow.

What a powerful reminder that God does not have to remove every obstacle before He demonstrates His goodness in our lives!

In the middle of your situation, you must silence every lie that contradicts the Word of God. Do not allow fear, disappointment, or the weight of your circumstances to speak louder than His promises. Anything contrary to His truth must not become the foundation of your faith.

You may not see the victory yet, but that does not mean God is not working.

Keep believing. Keep trusting. Keep standing on His Word.

You will overcome through Christ!

God draws near to those whose hearts are broken, bringing healing and binding up the wounds they carry (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 147:3). He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and knows the battles you are facing.

Do not surrender your faith because the battle has lasted longer than you expected.

God is able!

Prayer

Father,

You are the Alpha and the Omega! You are my Healer, my Redeemer, my Deliverer, and my Strong Tower!

I come before You today asking for Your divine intervention in every situation that has weighed heavily upon my heart. Strengthen my faith when I grow weary, and remind me that Your promises remain true regardless of what I see around me.

May every attack of the enemy fail according to Your Word. Silence every voice of fear, doubt, and discouragement that seeks to draw me away from Your truth.

Holy Spirit, lead me and guide me so that I may remain still and unmovable.

Father, prepare my heart to trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Let Your peace sustain me, Your presence strengthen me, and Your Word remain my foundation.

I praise You and thank You for the victory I have through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!

The Place That Sustains You

There is a place where you don't have to be everything for everyone. A place where you don't have to have every answer, carry every burden, or figure out what comes next. It is the presence of God.

Healing What You Learned to Hide

Some wounds grow older without ever becoming healed. God invites men to confront rejection, pain, and the beliefs that grew from it so the past no longer governs the present.
